Wow! What a rollercoaster week! The cut on John's finger is finally healed. He can't quite bend it yet, I guess that will take a while. But we were able to get out on the road bicycles twice and he did great (um, and so did I heehee). Sandie arrived LATE Friday night (after a 3+ hour delay)... our advice, do not fly into Baltimore afternoons or evenings!
We spent Saturday running errands and making last minute preparations for Lisa's first baby shower. Sandie did a TERRIFIC job of long-distance planning, and today, the BIG day, went off without a hitch. We highly recommend The Crown and Thistle Tea Room in Hunt Valley. It is beautiful, understated, the owner is fantastic, and the food and presentation was perfect. A big thank you to everyone who came and showered Lisa with gifts, advice, and well wishes. We will post photos very soon.
And now, goodnight! We are all exhausted!!
