I am different, I am ME!
- I am a Christian
- I love and practice yoga
- I meditate on the Scriptures. I love God. I know that I'm not perfect, never will be. But I am forgiven, and I strive to serve God every day.
- I love Chardonnay and old-time jazz and new age music
- I am totally in love with my husband, after 18 years of marriage and 3 of dating
- I adore my daughters, they are my best friends. I love that they still call me every day at least once a day. I feel awful when I am busy at work and can't chat when they call.
- People get on my nerves, and I love to be alone, but I have a heart for people and am compassionate towards their needs... even when they get on my nerves. I daily pray for God to allow me to see those around me through His eyes, the way He sees them.
- I don't like chocolate, or shopping, or gossip, or frilly girly things.
- I don't read fiction... no matter how good the book. I don't like it, that's me, please don't insist that I read your favorite fiction book!
- I prefer to backpack than to sit at the beach. Oh I like the beach alright, but I prefer the mountains and the breathtaking views that can only be seen after hours of climbing.
- I love to draw, and sew, and knit, and serve my man.
I am different. I am ME.

I could relate to your statement: "People get on my nerves, and I love to be alone, but I have a heart for people..." I feel that way a lot, too. Strange mix, huh?
And I love to see women brag on their hubbies. You two were made for each other.

I love you - just the way you are - wonderfully different and unique and with SO many incredible gifts!
We're in town for the week - leaving for a few days to go on a little family vaca, but then coming back for Thanksgiving. I'll call you and see if we can meet up for a bit. We're here for a week at Christmas - we'll have more time then!
