Friends and Family,
I've been absent for so long! I just can't seem to cram more into a 24 hour day. I am living life to the fullest and I can't keep up!
As I write this, I am in Boston... sitting on Sandie's bed. John just left to accompany her to school where she has a pre-trip dinner. We will deliver her very early tomorrow morning to start the first leg of her journey to China. We've been here since Thursday enjoying a fantastic time with her, Brian, and his family. We walked for most of the day on Friday (running errands, enjoying lunch, etc. etc.). Somehow, the three of them made it to the fireworks. I watched the airforce "fly-by" and came home and crashed. Saturday we were in New Hampshire until late at night... visiting family, touring, dining... Today John and I visited my mother in western Massachussets while Sandie packed and spent time with Brian. And tomorrow morning after she starts her trip, we'll be taking some much needed R & R in upstate New York.
I will try to keep this post (or sandiesworld.blogspot.com) up to date for the duration of her trip. Please keep her in your prayers. She will have internet access, so any post comments and/or emails will be appreciated. You can post comments (which she will see here or at the previously mentioned blog) or email me at mrsjwr@yahoo.com and I will forward to her.
Thank you for your support!
Mercy

Oh wow! Congrats, Sandie! China should be amazing. I have a friend there now-- just for a short term missions things.
I love how close-knit your family is, Merc! And your grandson is adorable!
SO excited for Sandie and all she'll get to experience. I know how proud you are of her!
I second Emily...that baby down there is SO cute!
