It's me Rocco writing my first blog on Mom's page

Hello everyone! By now you know I'm the newest member of the Rock household. I love my family! Especially my buddy John. He takes me for walks and for rides in his cars. I also get to go with him when he's doing something he's not supposed to... like sneaking out for ice cream when he's supposed to be resting... hee hee hee... Mama was quite upset, but my charming personality won her over :)

If I look concerned in this photo, it's because I'm watching over my buddy John while he is resting. He is sick with something called lymes. I know a little bit about it because I hear John and Mama talk about it when they're pulling ticks off me. I get a special treatment for them, but I don't think they have one for people because John was bit by a tick and got this lymes thing. We thought John had the flu, but Mama took him to the hospital yesterday and they said it's most likely lymes. The test results are not back yet, but the doctor says even if it's negative that the symptoms (and the bullseye mark on his thigh) would indicate lymes or some other tick-borne disease. So he is on special antibiotics for this. He's very tired and his head hurts, so he is sleeping and resting a lot.

Please pray for my buddy John to get better. I miss all our activities. I am doing my best to stay close to him and help Mama take care of him. Oh, and Mama says thank you all for the calls and offers to help. Really we're doing fine. John just needs to rest.
